Prefabricated house advantages
When you build a prefabricated house, you benefit from many advantages. The saying from the past, "prefabricated house are paper boxes", has long been consigned to history. Nowadays, a prefabricated house can easily compete with a conventionally built house. The advantages and disadvantages of prefabricated houses and conventional houses are often discussed.
The following 10 advantages will bound to convince you of the advantages of prefabricated houses.
1. One-stop service
With a prefabricated house, you only have one company to deal with that will coordinate your dream of living in your new home. From the first consultation with your advisor and architect you are in competent hands. Just one site manager organises matters on site and he knows everything about your building project. Even after we have handed you the keys, Schwörer is on hand with its own customer service and modernisation service for as long as you own the house.
2. Fixed price guarantee
When you build your house in this prefabricated fashion, you benefit from a high degree of planning security. Once the contract is signed, you will have a fixed price guarantee for up to 12 months for the whole range of services. There will be no unforeseen price surcharges to compensate for bad weather or unplanned costs, for example.
3. Reliable monitored quality
If you decide in favour of a prefabricated house, you can rely on high, reliable standards of quality. As a member of the German association for prefabricated construction, we are subject to annual quality monitoring. The German Federal Manufacturers' Association for Assembled Buildings and Prefabricated Houses assess not only the manufacture of parts in our plant, but also the assembling of the prefabricated house on site.
4. Personalised planning and fixtures and fittings
Each house in planned individually and is designed wholly in line with the building family's wishes. The notion of an 'off the shelf' house is a thing of the past. Your wishes are put on to paper in conjunction with an architect. Home-building families are spoilt for choice when it comes to the fixtures and fittings for their prefabricated house. The builder-owner can choose what they want in the comfort of one of our Design Centres.
5. Optimal energy footprint
A highly insulted and air-tight house envelope from the roof to the basement ceiling is an ideal building requirement for an energy-saving house. Prefabricated houses are built in line with the strict guidelines of the German Energy Saving Ordinance and far exceed these. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and the ingenious energy concept you are protected against the rising costs of energy.
7. Value retention
A prefabricated house should last over 100 years, and in this respect is by no means worse off than a conventionally built house. Modern prefabricated houses are monitored for quality multiple times during manufacture and assembly. For this reason, a lifetime of over 100 years should easily be obtained assuming proper construction, maintenance and care.
9. Short building times regardless of the weather
Prefabricated houses are produced in our plant regardless of the weather. This means that the building envelope, with its windows and outside doors, can be delivered to the site in no time at all where they can be assembled even when the temperature drops below freezing. Depending on the size of the house and scope, the interior work on the house could take just a few weeks.
